The Darwin International Airport is located just north of the Charles Darwin National Park, about 8 km northeast of the city center.
Taxis are widely available and at $25 rather cheap. There is also an airport shuttle bus service ($18 one-way) as well.
Public transport is limited with no direct bus connections between the airport and the city. Bus line 3 stops at the airport but you would need to switch buses several times to get into Darwin city center. Also be aware you can only pay inside the bus with small bills or coins.
