The airport has a single runway and one main terminal formed in the shape of a T. Domestic flights are handled in the northern part of the terminal and international flights in the south. The terminal has three floors: departures are on the third, arrivals on the second and the first floor is used for maintenance and passenger buses. An LCC terminal opened in the summer of 2014. The Chubu Centrair Airport has its own train station: the Central Japan International Airport Station on the Meitetsu Airport line. An express train will take you to the Meitetsu Nagoya station (next to the main JR Nagoya station) in just 28 minutes. One-way ticket is JPY 1200.
A shuttle bus operates as well: the Centrair Limousine shuttle bus will stop at central Nagoya and several large hotels. A ticket costs JPY 1000 for adults and 500 for children and travel time is about an hour.
