Francisco Bangoy International Airport, also known by the name of the Davao International Airport is the main airport serving Davao City. The name is taken from Don Francisco Bangoy, a local patrician who donated his land in the 1940s to build the airport. The airport currently handels almost three million passengers annually making it the busiest airport on the island of Mindanao and the third busiest in the Philippines. The airport is used as a third hub for Cebu Pacific. International flight options are limited though with only Cebu Pacific and SilkAir offering flights to and from Singapore.
